I was there most recently for honing oil, an old product that has become hard to find. I was sent there from a "I know what it is, but I haven't seen it in a while," competitor who is closer to my home.

Great customer service. Attentive staff. I could finally find a specific shaped lamp cover in here after having searched for it in 3 other hardware stores. This place seemed to have everything and being very organized. The staff was very helpful. Great place!!

These guys are truly the best and make you realize why shopping local is usually your best option. There is very little that, between all the brothers and cousins, they can't help you with, find for you, AND advise you how to do it properly without wasting your time. The high-school kids they hire at Home Depot really have no clue... There's no comparison.

Small hardware store with items from the floor to the ceiling so take your time when you walk in the store. Also check the items outside the store. Good prices for what I have seen.

Walked in with a picture of what I wanted because someone sent me on an errand to buy something for a festival. The guys working this shop are so friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. If they don’t have something out in the open then they definitely have it in their storage room. What really made my experience top notch was that the guy helping me asked what I needed the item for, and upon hearing the reason actually recommended the cheaper-priced option because I “didn’t need the heavy duty version.” That’s really great service. Probably the best local, family-owned shop I’ve ever been to in NYC; I wasn’t expecting it to be a hardware shop of all things.

What a nice place to shop! Owner and staff are friendly and helpful. Bought something that didn't work for me and it was no problem to bring it back. There's also something endearing and retro about this shop - lots of merchandise, knowledgeable employees, and general good vibes!
